Auckland - Part 2 of 4 of Aussie/NZ trip

First the farm stay, then off to the city!

Sundown on the farm.

Going out with the horses for a walk in the morning.

Hellooooo.

The signs of autumn.

Abby the border collie.

We rode horses.

Fed the sheep.

Then it was goodbye farm.

We went up One Tree Hill courtesy of Lindy, our host at the farm.

The views were spectacular. See the sky tower in the distance? Tallest in the Southern Hemisphere! Haha. The wind was crazy strong too.

Then we were given a lift into Auckland city and dropped off at our hotel. Spent the rest of the day exploring the city centre on foot.

The next day was the best. BUNGY OFF THE AUCKLAND BRIDGE!

That's the bungy platform. We jump off that.

There I go!

There he goes!

Walking back to solid ground after the jump. Phew!

Pretty nice views. It was raining though.

Someone lost a shoe doing his bungy jump. There goes the other one into the bin.

We wanted to get a bus back to our hotel, but there was a protest going on and the roads were closed. No supercity without Maori!

Road closed!

Hellooooo again.

The Sky Tower.

That's the Auckland Bridge! The one we bungy-ed off.

And more shopping, then off to the Gold Coast! (:

Sydney - Part 1 of 4 of Aussie/NZ trip

On the plane, still in Singapore, awaiting take off!

Sydney Central

Circular Quay. The sun was super bright, the wind super strong. Cold! That's the Harbour Bridge in the background.

The Rocks. The oldest part of Sydney or something like that. We spent a few hours walking around the place.

Us with the Opera House!

Sydney CBD skyline.

Harbour Bridge again.

Opera House up close. Would have taken more pics but it started raining. =/

Us with the Harbour Bridge haha!

Took the Bondi Explorer bus and this was one of the stops. Beautiful. The city was so far away.

Bondi Beach.

Mega waves and mega winds at Bondi.

He leaned so far back but didn't fall cos the wind was blowing from behind him.

Walking on the Harbour Bridge to get night views of the city.

Beautiful as always. Sydney really is a photogenic place.

Harbour Bridge at night.

And we're off to Auckland!

Countdown! + Updates

10 days to Aussie!

:D

Yes, I'm going afterall. (: (: (:

---

On a side note, I'm trying to prepare myself mentally for madness at work later tonight. Not looking forward to it. At all.

Also, other than fishy and teaching tuition I'm holding on to another part time. I'm already starting to prefer working at the new place as compared to fishy, but fishy still has better pay and I still want to stay there somehow. Maybe it's the people (some, not all). Or maybe just the sentimental value. Or maybe the money. Hurhur.

Met Kristle on Thursday for our girly date. We ate a lot. Again.

Weather is hot. Hot hot hot hot. Aussie will be a good escape from the heat. It's hitting winter over there alr. Awesome.

There're a few things to look forward to next week. Cake baking, picnic, bbq gathering, Baby Dave's 1 month party... Yayness. Many opportunities to bring the cam out!

I'm addicted to Restaurant City.

Gosh I spend my entire life in restaurants. Gah.

I need bacon, trade with me please?

Unforeseen circumstances

Swine flu might cause our trip to Aussie and NZ to be cancelled.

My heart aches at the thought of the money that will go down the drain, and the disappointment that will follow when we cancel our first overseas trip together.

But if it has to be done, it has to be done.

I'm hoping for the best.

Lots to be glad about

I have a nephew and he's called Dave. Baby Dave was born into the world on 17th April 2009. I've only seen him on facebook because his mummy posted photos. Can't wait to see him for real!

I've heard from university and I'm glad. Not pinning too much hope on what is yet to be but I'm grateful for what I have.

Boyfriend is the best. We're both moving into a different phase of our lives. Luck to us. Plus Aussie in less than a month!

Thankful. -Contented sigh-

Kids can sing

I know, I know, she's out of tune. But LOOK AT HER. How adorable is her expression!

If my son sings like that, I really don't know whether I should encourage him or ask him to shut up... Sigh, dilemma dilemma.

FAVOURITE. better better better BETTER AHHHH. watch it.
